Walk yourself to a more complete version of yourself, with every step connect with nature around and within and free yourself from the expectations of a fast paced and superficial world. Walk as you are and start feeling the peace within, accept the help from nature around you, the forest, the soil, the sounds, the smell, the wind, the animal life, the silence, slow down the engine, reduce speed. Learning and managing this skill, you will never have the feeling of wasting time anymore, every step brings you closer to your Self, shedding the parts that were given to you through conditioning, the parts that feel unnatural but pulling you away so often from your own needs. You will naturally become calmer and more peaceful, and the practice is translating into everything you do, and it is free from competition, free from pressure, free from comparison and free of cost. It’s just You, standing firm in awareness, on your two feet, intuitive, not separated from an artificial world but part of a bigger whole, letting your body breathe, bringing your mind to a pause. Walking consciously, with full awareness towards your surroundings and present with yourself, enjoying each breath, this is walking meditation. This is yoga. Isabel is living the practice of yoga since 15 years, on and off the mat with all its ups and downs, and has followed many trainings on all Hatha yoga practices throughout Asia to help make her practice more consistent and disciplined. She is a 500hrs certified yoga teacher from the classical Yoga of Sivananda lineage of India. Her focus is on all aspects of the yoga practice: physical, physiological, philosophical, psychological and spiritual. She grew through several 10-day silent retreats in seated meditation in Nepal and Mongolia. She teaches classes and retreats in Northern Thailand, India, Nepal and Luxembourg, sharing the benefits of yogic lifestyle through experience. Her other priorities in life are her family and mountain hiking. As she worked, lived and traveled on 4 continents she got the opportunity of extensive trekking through exquisite landscapes... the most inspiring and challenging being the high Himalayas. Walking silently in nature for extended periods of time has become one of the most effective medicine for all mental ailments, as is proper breathing to the body.
