Yin Yoga & Yateng Yoga
For Melanie Surmont, yoga is like a never ending love story of dis-covering yourself.
Yoga gives you wings to live your life, from your center.
Teaching yoga is a passion for Melanie. Tuning in, every lesson, blending powerfully flowing poses (influenced by Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga) and poses of stillness (more yin based) into a new journey, interlacing the energies of a group of wonderful people.
Her background: different dance styles, Vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga Teacher Trainings (Alberto Paganini, David Svensson, Shiva Rea, Robert Boustany…), Yin yoga teacher training (Sarah Powers, Paul Grilley) and years of didactic training in teaching (primary school teacher and Educational Sciences).
Yin yoga for hips and hamstrings:
After a full day of vinyasa yoga and other yang practices, yin yoga can give a deep release and restore the energy channels. In this 90-minute yoga class, we will open the hips and hamstrings, so blocked emotions and physical tension in this part of the body can be heartfelt and released. Open hips have a deep grounding effect, a stable base for the rest of your stay. Activating our Belly Brain 😊 So Welcome!
Yang yoga: a rigorous heart opening flow
This 90-minute full yoga flow class emphasize upper back opening and moves into a deep back bending sequence that includes danurasana (bow), urdvha danurasana (wheel) and rajakopatasana (king pigeon pose). The heart is our doorway to connect to the world. An open heart gives an open mind. My heart salutes your heart. Namaste
