Eileen von Knobelsdorff
"Eileen, RYT 500 Yoga Alliance certified & co-wner of House of Yoga, completed her 200 YTT in Thailand (Indian school Mahi Power Yoga) & her 300 YTT in Sri Lanka (with Dr Ganesh Rao, Mathieu Boldron & Annie Au). She was drawn towards Yoga at the age of 5. What began as a hobby, led her to realize that Yoga is more than just the practice of asana, but to create a space to deepen her inner connection of body & mind, a sense of inner calm & self-acceptance.
Eileen was working for several years in the corporate world. Yet, she was always convinced that “you are never feeling truly satisfied by work until you are satisfied by life”. This was her true call to make the leap to pursue her passion in teaching Yoga. She is grateful to be able to share her love for yoga, helping people to reconnect with body & mind and improve their well-being.
Traveling throughout the world, Eileen lived and practiced Yoga in 9 different countries & volunteered for a NGO in Ecuador. This passionate dancer speaks fluently 6 languages.
Being a health conscious person, she loves to eat healthy & experience alternative healing methods. Yoga is being one of the holistic powerful healing methods that she believes can be beneficial for just everybody.
Eileen’s passion and style for Yoga is infectious, bringing various elements of flexibility, strength and balance. Her goal is to share an accessible practice, encouraging students to break through their perceived limitations both on & off the mat."
