Danielle Hiemstra

Yin & Yang Yoga

The Netherlands

Danielle Hiemstra is a yoga teacher since 2012. She trained more then 500 hours with her teachers Anat Geiger and Marcel van de Vis Heil, in the Netherlands. Just like them, she teaches functional yoga. How you look in a pose is irrelevant, what you feel, is more important. Realizing this simple fact frees us from images of perfection and allows us to deal with the body we have. Not everyone can do every pose, and that’s completely fine in Danielle’s classes.

Danielle will teach a Yin Yang Yoga class on the festival, with as theme “Let the dragon fly”. This class starts with Yin poses, especially for opening the hip area. After the Yin poses, we finish the class with the fun and energetic Flying Dragon sequence.

Do you like a playful practice and much fun? Come, and show your version of the flying dragon 🙂

Open to all levels of practice and abilities.
